Course Cost: This 4 hour all classroom based course is only $149 per person. It is taught in-person and meets the training requirements to submit application for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit and the highly coveted non-resident Utah Concealed Firearm Permit for legal carry in 30+ states.

Topics covered: Handgun safety rules, handgun parts and operations, ammunition types and components, fundamentals of shooting, safe firearm handling, concealed carry options, firearms selection considerations, U.S. federal regulations, practical and legal considerations and much more. You do not need to bring a firearm because live-fire is not required nor do you have to have any previous experience. Complementary fingerprinting service and passport photo processing for the Utah CFP application submission is provided. Because the course is all classroom based and there is no live-fire requirement, you do NOT need to bring a firearm to the course.

• Driver's license or state issued I.D. card
• Black Ink Pen
• Notebook or Pad for taking notes
• Water and snacks if needed
• A teachable attitude

Refund and late arrival policy: There are no refunds given unless course is cancelled by Capital Defense Instruction LLC. Due to limited seating, preregistration and prepayment is required for everyone attending this popular course. Sorry no walk-ins. Failure to attend scheduled course you've enrolled in forfeits any money paid. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early considering there is always the potential for terrible traffic in northern Virginia. Students arriving late will not be admitted into the class. So please allow yourself extra travel time and don't be late.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS BORN OUTSIDE THE U.S.:
If you were born outside of the U.S. and are currently a U.S. citizen you must include ONE of the following documents with your application:

• Copy of U.S. issued born abroad certificate
• Copy of valid U.S. passport
• Copy of naturalization certificate

If you are not a U.S. citizen you must include ONE of the following documents with your application:

• Copy of permanent resident card.
• Copy of 1-94 paperwork along with copy of hunting license
